This theory permeates through our design philosophy, leading to designs that can be socially, politically and environmentally contextualised. We have a strong belief that good architecture and design directly influences our well being and state of mind by improving our surroundings, whilst allowing us to easily live out our daily lives.
Based in South Bristol and working through out the South of the UK, Dynamitecture is run by Ben Wilson, who has a decade of experience working in the field of Architecture and Planning on a mixture of projects; from small scale residential and commercial through to high-end residential and educational facilities. Projects have included urban masterplans and retail store planning in the food sector. The business can be engaged directly by a client, or can offer support to an architectural practice on a freelance basis.

Dynamitecture can provide a range of Architectural Services to suit your needs, from Loft Conversions and House Extensions, through to Site Masterplans. We can help you realise your vision through plans, drawings and artistic sketches. After an initial meeting to discuss your ideas, typically a building survey is completed (depending on the size of the project this can be completed by ourselves). The survey will then form the basis of the initial designs and concepts, before refinement and preparation for the planning process.
We can guide you through the relevant planning polcies and the planning process, and assist with the production of the relevant documentation, including plans, section, elevations, design and access statements, and historic building statements. Our abilities in this area are currently being further enhanced by Ben Wilson completing an MSc in Urban Planning at the University of the West of England, a course which is endorsed by the Royal Town Planning Institute. We can also liaise with the relevant professionals and consultants to address any potential concerns of the Local Planning Authority.
Our wealth of technical knowledge enables us to provide technical drawings and documentation for a range of construction types. These drawings and documents enable the most accurate quotes for construction costs to be produced as well as enabling Building Control to confirm the project's compliance with the Building Regulations. On smaller projects these drawings can contain the relevant information for them to be used as the construction drawings.
